A community project at Saffron Walden Museum explores the hidden stories behind items in the museum's collections.
The Hidden History Project was formed by a group of young people from The Lodge - a Saffron Walden-based learning community - in collaboration with the museum.
To launch the display, the group toured the museum and dug further into the meaning and significance of the items.

They used the items as inspiration for fictional stories, artwork and more, creating a display to show guests, parents and the rest of the Lodge group.
The finished display is part of the Your Stories: Community Showcase programme, in which the museum facilitates and features community co-curated displays.
