Remembrance Day services will be held in Saffron Walden to commemorate those who have lost their lives in war.
On Sunday, November 13, Mayor of Saffron Walden Cllr James de Vries will lead the mayoral party for the Remembrance Day parade and church service at St Mary's Church.
The procession will leave the Garden Room, Jubilee Garden at approximately 10.20am and process to the War Memorial in the High Street.
The service at the War Memorial and laying of wreaths will take place from 11am and thereafter the party will process to St Mary’s Church for the Remembrance Day Service. All are welcome to attend.
On Armistice Day itself, which falls on Friday, November 11, a short service will be held at 11am at the War Memorial.
