Saffron Walden MP Kemi Badenoch has welcomed more than £2.6 million in extra funding for schools across Uttlesford and Chelmsford.
This is part of an additional £2 billion this year and next for primary and secondary schools in England.
A typical primary school will receive approximately an extra £35,000, while a typical secondary school will receive £200,000.

Ms Badenoch said: "Increasing school funding is one of my key priorities, which is why I am pleased to see this Government delivering the highest real terms spending on our local schools.
"This investment will directly benefit every school across our constituency, and I will continue to work with them to ensure young people have the support they need to fulfil their potential."
