Exhibitors showcased their best flowers, fruits and vegetables at the Saffron Walden Horticultural Society Summer Rose and Floral Show.
The show was held on Sunday, June 25 at the Golden Acre Community Centre.
Despite the hot and dry weather, exhibitors managed to put on a successful show, with nearly 90 exhibits on display.
Prize winners included Robin Crouchman, who won the Veerman Rose Bowl for the most points in rose classes and the RA Butler Cup for the most points in the floral classes, and David Livermore, who was awarded the Saffron Walden Horticultural Society Cup for the best rose exhibit, with a variety called 'Elena'.
Hamish Davidson triumphed in the fruit and vegetable section, winning the Denning Bowl for most points and the Russell Green Cup for his vegetable collection.

In the domestic classes Vera Willson won the Walden Trophy for most points and the Rickett Shield for best exhibit - a jar of lemon curd.
Finally, in the children's classes Matthew Davies won the Scrivener Cup for most points, and Jack Hollidge won the Caroline Dowling award for his miniature garden.
The society's next show will be held on Sunday, September 17. The schedule will be published at http://www.swhortsoc.org.uk/.
