Stansted care home residents were transported back to the 1970s for a hippie-themed festival.
The team at Mountfitchet House welcomed the local community for the party, and decorated the home with banners, balloons and inflatable instruments.
Team member Jess provided live entertainment by singing a range of 60s and 70s favourites, and there was also a face-painter and an ice-cream van.
Resident Patricia, who is 98, said: "I had the best day – it was lovely to celebrate with everyone's families.
