Firefighters tackled a fire which broke out in a field at Salix Farm in Great Sampford.
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service was called at 5.12pm on Friday, August 11, to the blaze in Hall Road.
Crews attended from Saffron Walden, Thaxted and Harlow, and managed to extinguish the fire within an hour with the help of people at the farm - who created a break around the fire to stop it from spreading.
