Saffron Walden Museum is giving visitors the chance to experience a range of historic crafts.
On Thursday, August 24 there will be specialists in the grounds of the museum and castle to demonstrate and teach short tasters of traditional crafts, including willow weaving, pargetting, spinning and loom weaving.
The Saffron Walden Community Shed will also be demonstrating their traditional style pole lathe.
Meanwhile Uttlesford District Council's climate change team will have visitors making their own bird feeders from recycled materials, and the museum staff will be on hand with some pottery and flower pressing activities.

Refreshments will be available on site, including coffee truck Truckiato.
Admission to the event is £5 for adults, £2.50 for concessions and free for children, while museum admission charges also apply.
