A community 'wave of light' will be held in Saffron Walden for anyone who has experienced baby loss.
The candlelit vigil will take place at Jubilee Gardens at 7pm on Sunday, October 15, timed to join in with the global Wave of Light movement at the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week.
All are welcome to attend, hold a candle and stand together in a moment of silence to remember babies lost too soon - no matter how recent or long ago the loss.
The event will raise money for baby loss charity Petals.
Organiser Clare Edwards, who lives in Saffron Walden, said: "My niece, Eloise, was stillborn on July 18, exposing us to the raw heartache of baby loss.
"I know many of us will sadly have been impacted by baby loss at any stage of pregnancy and I hope standing together for our Wave of Light will bring some comfort.
"Petals have been hugely helpful to my brother and sister-in-law and I’m sure they have helped many of us in Saffron Walden, so while it’s not compulsory, any donations made will go towards this incredible charity."
