Services will be held in Saffron Walden this weekend to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
Armistice Day takes place on Saturday, November 11, and a short service will be held at the War Memorial at 11am.
The event marks the signing of the armistice between the allies of WWI and Germany.
On Remembrance Sunday (November 12), Mayor of Saffron Walden Cllr Heather Asker will lead the mayoral party for the Remembrance Day parade and church service at St Mary's Church.
The procession will leave the council chamber at approximately 10.30am, and head to the War Memorial in High Street.
A service at the War Memorial and the laying of wreaths will take place from 11am, and the party will then proceed to St Mary's Church for the Remembrance Day service.
All are welcome to attend.
