Disability charity Accuro is bringing back their annual Santa Dash in Saffron Walden with a 'Festive Family Fun Run'.

The event will take place on Saffron Walden Common at 10am on Sunday, December 3, and is designed for all ages and abilities.

Participants are encouraged to run or walk the route as many times as they like or are able to within 30 minutes.

The route is roughly 650m and will be marked and marshalled, and participants must complete one lap to receive a medal.

Entry costs range from £6.50 for a child's elf hat to £13.50 for an adult-sized Santa suit, with families encouraged to take part, and dogs also welcome.

Registration for the event will take place from 9am on the day in the Saffron Community Link building, just off the Market Square, where participants will collect and change into their festive outfit.

They will then be accompanied to the Common at 9.45am for a briefing before the run.

Accuro, which supports people with disabilities in West Essex, is inviting people to raise sponsorship via 'Give As You Live', with information on how to do so sent upon registration.
