Sue Birchall, who led the Christmas Fair Team, said: "St Mary’s Church, which has been the site of Christian worship for over 800 years, is an important historical part of our beautiful town.
"We greatly value the visitors, friends and neighbours, who came to support us in so many generous ways.
"Thank you all again for your continued support."
This year's fair raised £4,300 to go towards church funds.
