A group of suspects attempted to break into a shop in Clavering, and police are appealing for witnesses and information.
Police were called shortly before 3.15am on Sunday, December 3 to an ongoing disturbance at an address in Stortford Road.
It was reported a group of suspects were attempting to force entry into a shop.
Officers attended and found a Land Rover abandoned at the scene and damage caused to the property.
After a search of the area, another vehicle of interest - a white Volkswagen Golf - was found nearby.
Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have relevant doorbell or dash cam footage, to come forward.
