Miss Disco will be heading back to school for their annual Christmas party in Great Chesterford.
The live disco band is performing at Chesterfords Community Centre on Saturday, December 23, with full details available at https://www.missdisco.co.uk/.
This year's theme is 'school disco', with audiences encouraged to attend in fancy dress.
Lead vocalist Susan Pinky said: "There will be prizes for the best outfits and gold stars awarded to those who’ve done their homework and learnt the words to all the songs.
"Snogging under the mistletoe is permitted, smoking in the toilets isn’t. And for the very naughty ones, being caned on stage is entirely optional!"
The set list comprises of soul, funk and club classics from across the decades, alongside classic dance floor anthems from disco's biggest icons.
Susan will be backed by long-time bandmates Marcus Tinkler (keys and co-lead vocals), DC1 (bass), Warren Terror (drums and vocals), Max Blohard (trumpet), Randy Blohard (saxophone) and Funkin' Jack Flash (guitar and vocals).
Marcus said: "Putting together a special one-night-only set has become something of a masochistic ritual for the band.
"But we truly love doing it, just for the amazing crowd who come out to party with us at Christmas every year – and this year’s set is without doubt our funkiest ever. We really can’t wait to play it for everyone!"
