Singers Joanna Eden and Leigh McDonald are reviving their award-winning cabaret duo 'Mac and Eden' in Saffron Walden after a five-year gap.
Leigh, who runs her own theatrical agency, has not performed in five years as she was caring for her mum Jo, who died a year ago from Lewy body dementia.
She said: "My dear Ma's illness was horrible and cruel, but it was an absolute honour to care for her.
"She would be so happy that Jo and I are back in the showtime saddle again, so we'll be singing for me mum!"
The pair will perform their Brighton Fringe Cabaret Award-winning act at Fairycroft House on Saturday, January 13.

The show starts at 7.30pm with doors open from 6.45pm. Tickets are available from www.joannasplace.net, from Amy Louise Flowers and Gifts or Saffron Walden Tourist Information office.
Called 'The Seven Ages of Woman', the comedic show features a host of classics from shows such as Matilda, Les Misérables, Chess and Chicago, as well as original songs.
Joanna said: "Leigh and I find ourselves and our escapades hilarious and we want to share all the silly aspects of being female at every stage of our lives with our audience."
