The Crown and Thistle pub in Great Chesterford presented a cheque for £1,114 to children's charity The Laughter Specialists.
Landlord and landlady Mark and Ella raised £509 with their Christmas quiz, which was then match-funded by Barclays to make the overall total.
The charity also thanked quiz master Cathy, Steve who helped write the quiz, and Karen who helped with raffle prizes.

The Laughter Specialists provide entertainment for vulnerable children within schools, hospices and hospitals - using a mix of comedy, singing, magic, puppetry and improvisation.
A charity spokesperson said: "It was a fantastic night, so thank you to all those that attended.
"These donations are vital for The Laughter Specialists, allowing us to reach more children in more places."
