Saffron Walden Rotary collected £1,400 and two vans worth of aid from residents to donate to Ukraine.
The Rotary Club collected the donations on February 3 at the Common.
Donations included food, household items and clothing, as well as money which will go towards portable generators.
John Tapscott, the lead Rotarian on the project, said: "We were surprised to have a such a wonderful response to the 10th collection we have held on the Common.

"We hope to buy several generators with the kind financial donations.
"It just goes to show the local public’s on-going concern for those so severely affected by the continuing war.
"We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s support, whether they gave goods or made a financial donation."
