Saffron Screen is relaunching its film course for cinema fans after a four-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The course, which was scheduled to run in May 2020, will now take place at Fairycroft House from 10.30am to 5.30pm on Sunday, May 12.
Tickets can be bought at www.saffronscreen.com or from the Tourist Information Centre.
The course will speculate on what are the greatest films of all time - and the ways in which the film industry has tried to answer this highly subjective question.
Attendees will look at polls including the recent Sight & Sound poll, which is updated every decade and last released in 2022, as well as polls taken by the BBC, Film4 and the Guardian.

The day will be split into four main sessions covering films of the 21st century, world cinema, women directors and the Sight & Sound best films of all time.
Film writer and lecturer Ellen Cheshire will deliver the course. This will be the third study day she has led for Saffron Screen, having previously spoken about gothic cinema and European cinema and its legacy.
Anyone with questions about the content or the schedule of the course can contact Stephen Inkley at stepheninkley@saffronscreen.com.
