Uttlesford District Council is pledging financial help for residents unable to pay their council tax bill amidst the cost-of-living crisis.
The Cost-of-living Support Fund is available for those unable to improve their situation in the short-term.
The discount covers bills for both 2023/24 and 2024/25 financial years.
To be considered, residents must occupy a property in the district, be liable for council tax, and provide evidence of financial hardship due to the crisis.
Full details can be found at www.uttlesford.gov.uk/cost-of-living-support-fund.
Residents who need assistance in completing the form can contact the council on 01799 510510 to arrange an appointment.
