After Easter, the events will be held at Waitrose Café every Wednesday morning from 10.30am to midday.
Table hosts Suzanne Andrews and Elaine Dockrill enjoy meeting and chatting with people of all ages, and have welcomed everyone from mums and babies, carers and those they support, retired people, newcomers to the town and three "lively and very interesting" nonagenarians.
People can drop by and spend just a few minutes chatting with others at the table, or they can choose to stay for the entire session.
