The 33 Engineer Regiment enacted their 'right and privilege to march' at the Freedom of Uttlesford Parade on Sunday.
Following a parade through town, the regiment gathered in the town square.

They were welcomed by Deputy Lieutenant James Scruby and Mayor of Saffron Walden Cllr Deryk Eke, who both further inspected the troops and took the opportunity to talk with a number in the parade.
Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Gareth Dawson RE said: "33 Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search) is immensely honoured to be permitted to exercise our treasured Freedom of Uttlesford.
"The parade acted as a long-awaited celebration of our strong ties with the local community, and as an expression of deep gratitude for their unwavering support."
