Pupils from Dame Bradbury's Junior School in Saffron Walden showcased their artwork at an annual exhibition.
The children, aged from preschool to Year 6, presented a range of artworks following the theme "a different light".
Mayor Deryk Eke attended the exhibition, along with parents and members of the community.
Exhibits included mono-printed landscapes, acrylic paintings, fused glass panels, shadow puppets, and willow lanterns showcased which were shown in a dark theatre, accompanied by the school's brass band.
Teacher of STEAM at Dame Bradbury's, Amira Mitchell-Karam, said: "Seeing all the amazing artworks on display really helped to show the level of skill and creativity that our students hold and we hope that both they and the community are incredibly proud of their achievements."
