A new retirement development has officially opened in Saffron Walden.
Jacob Place, on Leverett Way, is the latest addition from McCarthy Stone, a UK retirement community developer.
The launch event, attended by the Mayor of Saffron Walden Councillor Deryk Eke, gave guests a first look at the available properties.
John Michael Tabakian, divisional sales director at McCarthy Stone, said: "With the Mayor on hand and many prospective homeowners and their families we were so excited to see the great turnout and support from the Saffron Walden community.
"It clearly shows the need and support for retirement housing in the area."
Jacob Place is designed for people over the age of 60.
