Two Stansted care home residents have celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary.
Brian Reeves, 86, and his wife Catherine, 81, both residents at Care UK's Mountfitchet House, toasted their 60th anniversary at the home.
The couple met at a youth club in 1959 and married on September 12, 1964.
Catherine said: "The day was lovely and one to remember forever."
They have three children and fondly recall a tour of Ireland in the 80s as their favourite memory.
