Saffron Walden Camera Club held its annual exhibition earlier this month and presented certificates and trophies to members.
Cllr Heather Asker attended the event on Friday, September 6 to present awards in seven categories.
The winners were Debbie Brown for monochrome prints, Iain Walker for colour prints, Sally Freeman for digital images, Clive Downes for portrait/people images, Jonathan Easthope for creative images, Lachlan French for nature images and Sally Freeman for portfolios.
The Camera Club's exhibition of photographs is on the upper level of Saffron Walden Library until Sunday, September 29, and is open to the public.
Photos on display were selected from members' entries to the club's annual competition, including those commended by an independent judge.
Saffron Walden Camera Club has been established in the town since 1981, and meets fortnightly on Friday evenings at the Community Link facility.
There are currently 30 members and the club caters for photographers of all abilities, interests and ages.
The club's 2024 to 2025 programme includes five photographic themes, which guide a series of lectures, workshops, photographic trips and outdoor activities.
With a relaxed ethos, the club aims to hold 'roundtable' sessions and social gatherings as well as more traditional photographic competitions.
