Residents have less than two weeks left to comment on Uttlesford District Council's plans for future house and employment sites in the Local Plan.
The council is urging residents to share their views on the Draft Local Plan, which will determine where homes and employment sites will be situated in the district.
This plan also outlines the infrastructure needed to support these developments.
The council is seeking public feedback on the 'soundness' of the plan, which refers to its compliance with national policy, guidance, and legislation.
Councillor John Evans, portfolio holder for planning, said: "I am urging everyone who wishes to contribute their views for consideration by the Planning Inspectorate to get involved and have their say on these draft proposals."
The draft plan can be accessed on the council's website, where feedback can also be submitted.

The consultation will close at 11.59pm on Monday, October 14.
The plan and supporting documents, along with the comments received in this consultation, will be sent to the Secretary of State later this year for examination.
