Free half term activities will take place in Saffron Walden town centre next week to keep families entertained.

The activities will be available at the town hall and Market Place from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday, October 29.

Saffron Walden Town Council has collaborated with partners Saffron Hall, Friends of Bridge End Garden, Saffron Walden Library and Saffron Walden Museum to make the sessions possible.

Visitors can join Saffron Walden Library at the town hall at 10am to sing along to songs and listen to stories.

At 10.45 and 11.45 the cast of Saffron Hall's pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk will hold a fun-packed activity session full of games, music, audience participation and more.

From 10am to 2pm in Market Square visitors can attend a 'Grow Your Own' broad bean session with The Friends of Bridge End Garden, and try free face painting with Rainbow Robin.
