Saffron Walden High Street has been decorated with poppies to mark Remembrance Day.
The commemorative poppies were donated by businesses in the town through the Saffron Walden Business Improvement District (BID).
Shara Vickers, chair of the BID, said: "We are honoured to support the local branch of the Royal British Legion in commemorating Remembrance Day on behalf of our local businesses.

"We hope this installation of large event poppies becomes an annual tradition for our town."
The poppies will be on display until Monday, November 11, including during the Remembrance Day parade on Sunday, November 10.
Michael Birnie, parade marshal of the Royal British Legion, said: “The poppies will enhance the route of the parade and reinforce the town’s commitment to Remembrance."
