Free family activities held in Saffron Walden over half-term have been hailed as a success, with more than 200 children taking part.
Saffron Walden Town Council said they were "pleased" with the support received at the day of activities, which took place on Tuesday, October 29.
In the town hall, the cast of Saffron Hall's pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk offered a fun-packed activity session with games, music and audience participation.
There was also story time in Saffron Walden Library and an opportunity to get creative and colour giant ears with Saffron Walden Castle.
In the Market Square, families took part in a 'grow your own broad bean' challenge with The Friends of Bridge End Garden, and enjoyed free face painting.
A spokesperson for Saffron Walden Town Council said: "It was a huge success with 200+ children enjoying the free activities on offer.
