Saffron Walden Rotary has donated 4,000 'Ruby Giant' crocus bulbs to the town ahead of their 100th anniversary.
The Rotary Club turns 100 next year, and recently planted the bulbs in Bridge End Garden with help from the Friends of Bridge End Garden and Bridge End Garden Operatives.
A Saffron Walden Town Council spokesperson said: "Congratulations to the Rotary on their upcoming 100th year.
"Be sure to visit the Walled Garden late February/March 2025 to see the crocuses growing along the centre path, hinting at the end of the cold and dark months with a vibrant purple carpet."
Saffron Walden Rotary is also holding an online charity auction to mark their 100th anniversary, which will go live at www.jumblebee.co.uk/SWRotary100Auction on November 14.
