Jack has lost his bags of magic beans in Saffron Walden, and the BID is enlisting the public's help to find them.
The Saffron Walden BID Christmas Trail runs until Monday, December 23, with families invited to search for the beans in the windows of businesses.
All trail hunters will receive a free goody bag at the Tourist Information Centre and be entered into a draw to win a family ticket to Saffron Hall's pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Shara Vickers, chair of Saffron Walden BID said: "We’re thrilled to partner with Saffron Hall and the Tourist Information Centre to bring this magical Christmas trail to life.
"It’s a wonderful way to draw families and shoppers into Saffron Walden, showcase our fantastic local businesses, and spread some festive cheer.
"We hope many families join in and enjoy this free holiday fun."

Graham King, from Saffron Hall, said: "Over 6,000 people will visit Saffron Hall for our panto this year, and the trail is a fantastic way for families to explore the town and get into the festive spirit before or after the show.
"We are delighted to be working with the BID, TIC and SWTC to support local businesses and promote our wonderful town to visitors from across the district, county and beyond."
