St Mary's Church in Saffron Walden raised more than £4,250 at their annual Christmas fair.

Sue Birchall, who led the fair team, said: "Sincere thanks to all our visitors who helped to make the Christmas Fair at St Mary’s Church such a success.

"A marvellous total of over £4,250 was raised to contribute to the work and running costs of our precious church.

"Grateful thanks also go to the congregation and friends who worked so hard to make the day happen."
