Saffron Walden Rugby Club have picked up a national award from the RFU.
They were named as team of the season for men's level seven of the pyramid have won all 22 of their Counties One Eastern Counties matches.
Their closest match was a four-point win against Southwold in January.
Kevin Lock scored 16 tries for them with Mark Kimberley adding 130 points.
Walden topped the numerous tables of statistics too, registering the most points at home (481), the most points away (350) whilst conceding the least (239).
Director of rugby, Neil Gaffan, said: "I'm very proud of what we achieved this year but it is a result of a few years developing and culture forming.
"I hope the guys stick together and continue the hard work next year at level six.
"Winning is a habit built from a strong culture. Building a robust environment is key and allowing the players to build a positive culture makes the hard work and standards easier and player centred."
