The Ford RideLondon Classique 2024 - which starts in Saffron Walden - will host its 'strongest' line-up ever.
Headlined by Team SD Worx-Protime, the leading team of 2023, the 2024 field will include four out of five top teams from last year's end-of-season rankings.
The participating teams include Lidl-Trek, Canyon//SRAM, and UAE Team ADQ.
A strong contender for this year is Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL - previously known as Team DSM.
This team has won every edition since the Classique transitioned into a stage race back in 2022.
They will be looking to bag their third consecutive crown at this event following their wins by Lorena Wiebes in 2022 and by Charlotte Kool in 2023.
Team SD Worx-Protime have been topping the world rankings each year since 2021 and their power-packed performance in 2023 saw them winning 60 races.
The 2024 season began for them on a high note, triumphing at three out of the four stages at the UAE Tour this month.
Their star-studded squad includes the likes of 2022 and 2019 Ford RideLondon Classique champion Wiebes and the current World Champion, Lotte Kopecky.
The 2024 Ford RideLondon Classique will welcome 11 UCI Women's WorldTour teams and nine UCI Continental teams. This includes four UK teams - Lifeplus-Wahoo, DAS-Hutchinson-Brother UK, Doltcini O'Shea and Torelli.
Ford RideLondon Classique race director, Scott Sunderland said: "The strength of the elite field we have assembled for the 2024 Ford RideLondon Classique is indicative of the growth and prestige of the race year-on-year.

"At the other end of the scale, we are delighted to again provide a platform to four British teams to showcase their riders."
The race starts with two stages in Essex on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25; the first stage (159km) is from Saffron Walden to Colchester, while the second stage (143km) will start and finish in Maldon.
The final stage (91km) will be the iconic finale in central London, starting and finishing on The Mall.
