Stansted Hall & Elsenham Cricket Club is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary of playing at Stansted House this weekend.

Housebuilder Dandara - which is currently working on the Millers View development in Elsenham - has sponsored 50 bucket hats and training shirts for the celebratory match on Sunday, June 30.

The match is open to all members, friends, and sponsors of the club.

The club, founded in 1947, prides itself as a friendly, family-oriented village hub, featuring four senior and seven junior teams.

David Brown, chairman of Stansted Hall & Elsenham Cricket Club, said: "We’re really looking forward to celebrating this significant milestone for the club and would like to invite anyone interested to come and join us for our anniversary match.
