Four gardens will be open on Sunday, May 30 from 1pm to 5pm as the Sheepcote Green Group, raising funds for charities supported by the National Garden Scheme.
In 2020, despite coronavirus, the scheme was able to donate £2.88 million.
The cottage garden charm of April Cottage, the home of Anne and Neil Harris, has beguiled visitors including Alan Titchmarsh who filmed for the Love Your Garden series last summer.
New to the scheme this year are neighbours Judy and Adrian Wilson-Smith at Appletree Cottage together with Sheepcote Green House, home to the McNaughton family. A short walk along an ancient bridleway is Jenny and Peter Milledge’s Waggon and Horses, a former pub.
Teas will be served on the lawn at Sheepcote Green House, with be plant sales on the green.

Combined admission £8 for adults, children free. Sheepcote Green (CB11 4SJ) is about 1.5 miles north west of Clavering.
